Hand-colored ninth-plate ambrotype in brass preserver of Henrietta Goddard Wigglesworth (later Holmes; later Fritz) as a young girl. She was the daughter of Boston Lawyer Edward Wigglesworth and later first the wife of Edward Jackson Holmes and second the wife of W. Scott Fitz. The photograph was taken in 1858 by Wyman & Co. of Boston, Mass.
